H3C华三 WA系列AP胖瘦模式切换操作指导

一、应用环境：

对于无线新开局的项目来说，WA系列AP发货的自带版本可根据项目需要向供应链提出要求。但实际使用中，有的时候需要把现网的AP进行胖瘦模式的切换，多数情况下一线工程师习惯使用ap-mode命令切换工作模式，却发现有的时候执行完该命令后AP无法正常启动或者下载版本，只能通过串口登陆设备通过bootrom升级，当涉及多台AP时会耗费大量时间。因此，在进行WA系列AP胖瘦模式切换操作时，建议按照本指导进行操作。

二、组网需求：

WX系列AC（无线控制器），Fit AP（无线接入点），POE交换机。

三、组网图：

    任意AC（无线控制器）+ Fit AP（无线接入点）组网（略）

四、操作步骤：

本操作步骤指导适用于WA全系列AP。首先，我们需要了解ap-mode命令的工作原理。这条命令在切换AP工作模式的同时格式化了AP的flash。当flash被格式化后，AP就必须从AC上获取或者手工上传相应的版本bin文件。针对不同的应用场景，我们建议要求的操作指导也不相同。

1、现网有AC的场景：

当AC存在的场景下，我们推荐使用ap-mode命令完成AP的Fat转Fit的切换，在AP上执行该命令前，必须确认AC上的bin文件版本配套一致以及AC侧配置并使能了dhcp server。当执行完命令后，AP的flash会被格式化，然后重启获得ip地址后在AC上下载对应版本。具体操作过程如下所示：

2、  现网无AC但AP本身有串口的场景：

当没有AC存在的场景下，如果AP本身有串口，我们根据不同的场景推荐可以使用以下两种方式完成胖瘦模式切换：

（1）当AP的flash足够大时，我们可以通过FTP或者TFTP方式将Fit的bin文件上传到flash里，同时在命令行下通过boot-loader命令指定启动文件，然后reboot完成切换。当然亦可采用ap-mode命令进行切换，只是需要通过串口登陆设备在bootrom下完成Fit版本上传。

（2）当AP的flash只能容纳一个bin文件时，我们可以手工删除掉当前的版本文件，其余的操作与方法（1）完全一致。下面以Fit转Fat为例，通过配置boot-loader指定启动文件完成模式切换：

3、现网无AC同时AP本身也没有串口的场景：

针对这种情况，我们要求不能使用ap-mode命令切换，一旦切换就无法现场恢复了。我们建议此场景下，删除flash里的app文件后上传新的bin文件，然后通过boot-loader指定启动文件后重启。如果dir发现flash里有startup.cfg的文件，建议删除后再执行reboot命令。目前没有串口的AP只有WA2610H-GN这款AP，因此在实际开局和维护时一定要格外注意。

五、配置关键点及注意事项：

针对三种不同场景，我们给出相应的操作指导。在操作过程中，切记执行reboot命令前，选择“是否保存当前配置”时选择“N”，否则可能造成AP无法登陆的情况，特别是设备没有串口的情况下该故障只能返修无法现场恢复。

补充一下，目前AC的B109分支版本将wa2600a_fit.bin和wa2600ae_fit.bin的文件合并为一个bin文件，因此在升级B109分支版本时，需要将以前的bin文件全部删除再上传新的bin文件。升级中，严禁只上传AC的bin文件就重启设备，这样可能导致在线的AP下载老的bin文件造成AP版本错误挂死，这种情况下只能通过bootrom升级恢复。
